New Calendar

The Calendar replaces the previous two pages which had recurring and one off events.  Now you only need to look in one place to find out what is happening in Shrewton and the surrounding area.

Events are still being added but I hope to finish this within the next couple of days.

In another change the Links and Adverts page has been renamed ‘Classified’.  The content is unchanged.

The Arrowhead

On a personal note I would like to join those wishing Sally a happy retirement from editor of the Arrowhead.  Before taking the decision to move to Shrewton twelve months ago it was a useful online resource to help understand the kind of village and parish we were moving to.

Until and after the new Arrowhead emerges I hope you will find shrewton.com increasingly useful in keeping up to date.  We have a good number of people who get emails when new news items (like this) are published and also over a hundred followers on Facebook (but be aware that if you follow us, or any page, on Facebook you will not get told of every status change – it’s just the way Facebook is built).

So, please make use of shrewton.com by advertising your services with us or letting us know of events taking place.

I recognise that not everyone has access to the internet. If you see something which you think will be of interest to a friend or neighbour let them know about it – perhaps some of the things listed above or listed in the Calendar.
