Shrewton Walking Group walks recommence from January 5th.  A great way of getting an hour or so of healthy walking starting from the Sports and Social Club.  To join us just turn up to the Sports and Social Club car park a few minutes before 9:30 on a Tuesday morning.  Wear suitable footwear and clothing for walking – depending on the time of year we will encounter puddles, mud, nettles and brambles.  You will find we are a friendly group and we always finish at the Methodist Coffee Shop for more chat and good coffee.

Funded and organised by Wiltshire Council.

A new series “Road Stories” starts on BBC Radio 4 this coming Wednesday (6th January) at 11:00 am.  The first episode is titled “Stonehenge” and includes recordings made at the Public Meeting with John Glen to discuss Shrewton’s road issues on 25th September last year.  The programme will also be available shortly after broadcast on the BBC’s website.  See details.
