On Saturday 5th March starting at 10:00 am there is a special “Shrewton village clean up day” as part of the Clean for the Queen Campaign.

This year it will be organised by Shrewton and District WI and be led by Jean Briggs.

Shrewton & Till Valley Valley Horticultural Society have regular talks at the Methodist Church Hall.  They also arrange coach trips during the year and a quiz night, with a gardening theme of course, in October.  And of course they organise the [much more than a] Flower Show at the Recreation Ground which will take place in July.  Talks are open to all for a £3.00 admission fee which includes refreshments, donations welcome.  You don’t have to be an expert gardener to enjoy these evenings and other events.  Find out more on the Society’s page.500x5Divider1

Adverts and Events now have new homes.

To provide a better service to advertisers a new website has been created for business to promote their service.  The site also has better way of finding providers of a particular service.  Remember, we do not charge advertisers to appear on our adverts site which means even the smallest business can promote itself.

An events site has also been created to provide you a readily accessible list of events taking place in Shrewton.  Events are still being added to the site but new events will be added soon.
