I think this is a wonderful idea; which I applaud. However, for those who wish to paint, a problem arises, i.e. where we generally cannot access a craft paint supplier, how do we “do it”? for example, you cannot effectively use a pencil crayon on a piece of muslin….. a little er; relaxation in the ‘rules’ might help?? Just saying….
I see no reason why a pencil crayon on muslin can’t be used but please back the muslin onto something stronger if possible. Otherwise google the type of paint you want to use and several suppliers will come up. I tried acrylic on an old pillowcase and washed it and there was no change.
