Can you please advise re the appearance of a pole with an aerial on the top at the Nett Rd end of the “path” to Highfield Rise. When we originally moved into Highfield Rise we were informed this was an emergency access to Nett Rd (has a pair removable pillars at each end). Can obviously no longer be used for this purpose !!
I have been informed that the pole erected at the Nett Rd end of the “path” between Highfield Rise and Nett Rd contains a op station for when street lights go to led ! When we moved into the village we were informed that this throughway provided emergency access between the two areas hence the removable bollards and concrete chequer inserts to the sides of the path. Why was the post sited in such a place when ample space exists adjacent on the east bank of Nett Rd. Was a planning application submitted? Emergency access is no longer possible
