Get Wiltshire Online – Shrewton Group

The new-look MADDINGTON CHURCH ROOM with local people taking advantage of its WIFI during the recent GetOnline Open Day

“The Shrewton Online event was a great success.  It was most rewarding to see such a lot of interest being shown from villagers and I would like to thank Richard Elliot for his hard work in getting this initiative off the ground.  I know there is lots of interest from those who need to learn but he also requires support from those willing to share their expertise.
A worthy cause if it will enable more of us to be able to use the internet in these digital days.”

500x5Divider1The SHREWTON & TILL VALLEY GetOnline group of Wiltshire Online is now helping an increasing number of local people to make better use of their Tablets, Laptops and Smartphones but we now need YOUR HELP by becoming an Online Volunteer:

Do you have a few hours spare each month when you could as a Digital Champion help someone with the basic computer skills to learners on their own devices get online on their own computer?

The Shrewton & Till Valley Group, using Online Volunteers, can help those who want to forget Computer Classes by providing One-to-One Support on their own Tablet, Laptop or Smartphone. To do this, Drop-in Sessions covering basic computer skills to learners on their own devices sessions will be held in Shrewton’s MADDINGTON CHURCH ROOM which now has WIFI to help those attending to Get Online quickly.

So, if you could help us, please contact Richard Elliot Shrewton’s Group Coordinator: (
and encourage any of your Family and Friends, who might be interested, to do the same!
