Shrewton and Till Valley Horticulture Society

“Founded in the 19th Century
– still growing in the 21st Century”

Shrewton & Till Valley Horticultural Society has been in existence for 118 years. It is a community organisation whose main purpose is to provide a flower and produce show (one of the few still held in a traditional marquee) for the local villages of Shrewton, Orcheston, Tilshead, Winterbourne Stoke, Berwick St James and Stapleford.  We are dependent on our patrons or supporters, our generous sponsors and the many volunteers who help the Society’s committee and their fund-raising throughout the year.

The Society also holds regular meetings with interesting talks on a wide variety of topics related to gardening.

We have some interesting, amusing and helpful speakers and often opportunities to buy plants.
There is a loyal band of people attending but we would love to see larger numbers enjoying these evenings.

OPEN TO ALL – no membership fee, donations welcome.

We meet in the Methodist Hall on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm.  Everybody is welcome to come along and enjoy the talk and have some social time afterwards – there are often free seeds, plants and advice on offer.
A warm, friendly atmosphere guaranteed.

Admission on the door is £3, includes refreshments.
