Formal Description of Shrewton’s Paths

This list dates from 4 March 2015 and has the official descriptions of all the paths in the village of Shrewton.

The list is maintained by Wiltshire Council and copied to the Parish Council when changes are made. The date of those changes is referred to as the “relevant date”.

There are four types of path – each allowing different access – from a “footpath” solely for walkers (pushchairs and prams are OK) to  “byway open to all traffic” which means anything can go along it! Those are defined here. You will also note that Path 7 is a “CRB” – and here is a Public Rights Of Way Glossary to find out what a CRB is!

To see more information – pictures and informal descriptions – look at the Footpaths, Bridleways and Byways of Shrewton page.
